It doesn’t matter if your book is for private use or for anyone to see, you probably want your pictures to be top notch!? It doesn’t matter if you have taken a lot of nice pictures, sometimes you need to edit them. But where do you start?
We have listed some free editing programs that you can use when editing your pictures for your next book or photo book.
Pixlr - Pixlr is a web application, no download needed for editing your pictures. A perfect website if you want to edit your pictures in a fast and easy way.
Gimp - This editing tool is compatible with both Mac and Windows. It is a powerful tool that is similar to Adobe Photoshop. You can work with layers, colour channels, masks and a lot more. For those with a bit more experience.
Photopea - Photopea is a web application. You can change the exposure, saturation, use presets etc. This tool can be a little bit slow and you can’t edit photos in raw formats, but it’s completely free.
When you are done editing your pictures, save them as JPEG files, login to Solentro and upload your pictures under “My pictures”.
